Alyssa Healy

It has been a tough opening week for RCB but they have the weekend off and hopefully a new week will bring about a change in fortune. UP Warriorz are back to winning ways and their skipper too is in form now, plenty of positives for them and time to kick on. That's all from this game. We'll be back tomorrow with more WPL action. Until then, goodbye and stay safe..

Alyssa Healy, UPW captain and Player of the Match: Really pleased with our bowlers tonight to keep them under 200. Full credit to the spinners as they held their nerve and took wickets at crucial times. It was spin to win tonight. It was a good batting wicket and the spinners did a fine job. Shweta is only a baby and coming into such a competition is difficult. We watched Vaidya in the recent series (against India) and wondered what she was doing at number 7, she played a fine knock and took the pressure off me. We just set the platform early and by the timeout we needed run a ball, we didn't want to drag it too long.

Smriti Mandhana, RCB captain: In the last four games it's been happening. We start well and then lose a cluster of wickets. I take the blame as well. Need to get runs on the board for the bowlers to defend. Overs 7-15 we spoke about getting 7-8 per over. Didn't work out today. We're trying to get a balanced team. Let's see how it goes. I've tried to speak to all the players about it. We'll have to keep doing it. Last one week has been really tough on the team. Lots to reflect, lots to work on. Should admit last week has been really tough. Lot of people have reached out to me. As international cricketers we have faced these situations. I have my family around me.

22:17 Local Time, 16:47 GMT: That is now four defeats in a row. It is not only RCB's bowling that is struggling but the batting is also not upto the mark, bowled out inside 20 overs twice in four games. 138 was never going to be challenging and UP Warriorz made light work of the chase. Alyssa Healy had not got runs in the first two games and chasing a low score allowed her to take time, not that she needed it as she brought up her fifty off 29 balls and notched up the highest score in the competition. Devika Vaidya was promoted up the order and did a perfect job of second fiddle, she rotated the strike and picked up the odd boundary. RCB's bowling once again lacked penetration and it was the third game this season where they have picked two wickets or less. Presentations coming up..

12.6

Shreyanka Patil to Healy, 1 run, UP Warriorz win by 10 wickets. Another hammering for RCB. They have allowed the target to be chased down in 13 overs with all 10 wickets intact. Healy tried to go for the big one but ends up dragging the heave to deep mid-wicket, just a single and she remains unbeaten on 96

12.5

Shreyanka Patil to Healy, FOUR, there is still a chance. 1 needed and Healy needs a maximum. She premeditated the reverse sweep and had to fetch the full toss from leg-stump, smacks it in front of square on the off-side and gets closer to the ton

12.4

Shreyanka Patil to Devika Vaidya, 1 run, slower and outside off, Vaidya slices the drive square of the wicket

12.3

Shreyanka Patil to Devika Vaidya, FOUR, that dents Healy's chances. Flatter and drifting in, Vaidya opens the bat face and steers it behind square on the off-side, splitting backward point and short third perfectly

12.2

Shreyanka Patil to Healy, 1 run, fired full around off, Healy shimmies out and lofts it to long-off

Two big hits will get Healy her hundred

12.1

Shreyanka Patil to Devika Vaidya, 1 run, comes down the track and lofts it back over Shreyanka, long-off tidies up

Shreyanka Patil [2.0-0-24-0] is back into the attack

11.6

Perry to Devika Vaidya, 1 run, full and at the stumps, Vaidya flicks to deep mid-wicket and retains strike

11.5

Perry to Healy, 1 run, short and bowled into the wicket, Healy pulls to deep mid-wicket

11.4

Perry to Healy, FOUR, can she get a hundred? UP need 14 more and she needs 11. Full and in the slot, Healy brings the bottom hand into play and pumps it straight back over Perry, one bounce over the ropes

11.3

Perry to Healy, 2 runs, short of length around off, Healy pulls past mid-wicket and Burns keeps it to a brace

11.2

Perry to Healy, no run, yorker around off, Healy tries to dig it out but doesn't make contact

11.1

Perry to Healy, FOUR, cheeky! Healy makes room and plays the late cut right in front of off-stump, beats Richa to her right and the ball races away

10.6

Erin Burns to Devika Vaidya, no run, RCB lose a review. This never looked close. Burns goes over the wicket and tosses one up, Vaidya sits down and misses the sweep, struck on the back thigh and the ball would have crashed into the stumps, but it had pitched outside leg

RCB review! This is taken more in desperation. Burns wasn't sure and so too was Richa. But Smriti wanted to take a chance and sent it upstairs. UltraEdge rules out bat. But did the ball pitch outside leg? Yes, Vaidya survives. Not Out!
