I think Deepti showed her experience. Smriti showed her character today, with that batting line-up you don't need to worry much. We wanted to finish with 4-5 overs left, and we managed to do that.

In reply, Shafali Verma was dismissed for a duck and Jemimah Rodrigues couldn't chip in with a signficant contribution either, but Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur took control of proceedings and had a match-defining partnership thereafter. Mandhana was stumped when India were closer to the target, but Harmanpreet scored a fifty, she stayed there till the end and took India Women over the line.
