On the other hand, Sri Lanka have been invincible this tournament. They have bowled out opponents in all their games, and were barely given a challenge here in Zimbabwe. Now, the team pose in front of a banner reading 'Namaste India', as the magnanimous Dasun Shanaka invites the Dutch team to join in for one big team photograph. On that note, we'll end our coverage for the World Cup Qualifiers, it was a joy writing on these games. We'll continue on with our cricket coverage and keep tracking these sides as they prepare for the big World Cup now. Stay well, bye for now...

The Dutch were outclassed today but take nothing away from their journey in this competition. They were without so many of their regulars who were stuck in county cricket. Not many gave them a chance to pip the likes of Zimbabwe, West Indies and Ireland to make it to the World Cup. But Scott Edwards and co. proved the power of teamwork and dedication, and a consolidated effort has helped him get over the line.

Dasun Shanaka: Prior to this tourney, we had a good series against Afghanistan. Everyone in our team wanted to prove we are a better side than one that needs to play the qualifiers. Only concern were the injuries - Lahiru and Chameera were out early. But we were in control of every situation and played good cricket. I have been playing with them, so I know when to use them. The planning has been made early, Chris and Mahela were there to help out. I think they will play a big role for us in India as well. There was pressure but the management and myself never allowed the pressure to come to the team. Our change room was always positive and we played with the right mentality. We never wanted to play the qualifiers, but we are proud to win this tournament and go to India. I must thank Cricket Zimbabwe, have to thank the Zimbabwe fans, the Sri Lankan fans and all the fans around the world.

Scott Edwards: It is a high intensity tournament. Very proud of the boys, we've played some really good cricket. Excited for the next few months. We were still here to win the game. Credit to the bowlers, we kept them to a target we could chase but we obviously need to play the spinners better. The culture in the group is amazing. Zimbabwe is a beautiful place to be, that helped as well. Guys have stepped up when they had to, that's why we are going to India. That WI chase, we took a lot of confidence from that. So chasing 280 in 44 overs, we had a blueprint for that. It is massive for the guys, for our supporters and for Dutch cricket. The opportunity to play in a 10 team World Cup is massive for us. Hopefully we can put in some good performances in India.

Sean Williams is the Player of the Tournament. Sikandar Raza collects the trophy on his behalf.

Dilshan Madushanka | Player of the Match: Happy to be man of the match in the final. I've trusted my basics and my job is taking wickets with the new ball. Happy that I could perform. The wickets were suitable for batters here, but we need to do well whatever the conditions as a bowler. I've learnt a lot from Kasun Rajitha. He is like a mentor to me.

Chris Silverwood | Sri Lankan Head Coach: First goal was to qualify, and next was to prepare and train for India. We will go home happy. From a personal point of view, it was nice to see we have grown in confidence. It is huge from a mental and physical side of things, we need to ensure that these players are now fresh. We have 3 young bowlers with immense potential. Very pleased with the spin bowling department, I think everyone knows how strong we are there.

Wanindu Hasaranga: Before we came here we had a good series against Afghanistan. In that series our bowlers bowled well and took the momentum from that series. We try to bowl wicket to wicket and that helps us. Especially as a team and personally we take the momentum to India. We have played a lot in the last two years in India and we know the conditions.

15:11 Local Time, 13:11 GMT, 18:41 IST: Clinical!! That's one word to sum up Sri Lanka's performance today, and throughout this tournament. Today, their batters weren't at their best, and it needed the new man Arachchinge's 50, coupled with some handy lower order contributions to get them to 233. However, they were lethal with the ball. Madushanka found some swing and dismissed three of the top five. From the other end, Wanindu Hasaranga followed up from where he left off, striking with his first ball. The Dutch batters were all at sea playing his spin, and the run out of Scott Edwards didn't help their cause as well. It needed a late partnership between Max ODowd and Logan van Beek to get them to a score beyond 100, but Maheesh Theekshana returned for a second spell and finished the job, ending as the leading wicket-taker on the day. Over to the presentations now

23.3

Theekshana to Clayton Floyd, out Lbw!! Sri Lanka win the final of the ICC World Cup Qualifiers!! All over!! Theekshana has now taken his last 3 wickets with the same tactic. Push it full outside off and get in to turn in and strike the pads. The batter didn't have a clue this time as well and is trapped plumb in front of the wicket. Clayton Floyd lbw b Theekshana 9(7) [4s-2]

Theekshana to Clayton Floyd, THATS OUT!! Lbw!!

23.2

Theekshana to Clayton Floyd, FOUR, a leg spinner this time, turned past the leg slip and runs away for four

23.1

Theekshana to van Beek, 1 run, a leg spinner's googly from Theekshana, inside edged to the right of short fine

22.6

Hasaranga to Clayton Floyd, FOUR, flighted up on middle and off from round the wicket. Floyd sweeps across the line and toe ends it. However, there is nobody behind square and that ball trickles down to the ropes

22.5

Hasaranga to Clayton Floyd, no run, googly again, the batter didn't read it again. Struck on the pads but was going down leg. No real appeal from the Lankans

22.4

Hasaranga to van Beek, 1 run, tossed up, this time the sweep goes towards deep square

22.3

Hasaranga to van Beek, no run, tossed up delivery, van Beek inside edges his sweep onto his pads

22.2

Hasaranga to Clayton Floyd, 1 run, googly, Floyd didn't read it and gets an inside edge towards short fine. Takes off for the single at his partner's call and ambled his way towards his end. Was miles out if there was a direct hit

22.1

Hasaranga to van Beek, 1 run, leg spinner from a much shorter length. Van Beek shuffles in to sweep to the left of short fine

21.6

Theekshana to Clayton Floyd, no run, full and straight, blocked out
